The College’s Distinguished Visitor Peter Brathwaite FRSA will lead an exciting work-in-progress sharing event to request feedback as he develops a project for public performance.

Peter is working with composer Dr Robert Laidlow – Jesus College to develop a new music theatre performance exploring hidden histories relating to Peter’s ancestors lying in Oxford’s archives. The story Peter tells about generations of his family, both enslaved and enslavers, is brought to life using AI technology to give voice to long silent objects and histories.

This event is open to students, staff, and Fellows of the College.
